Teeth Whitening

The In-Office Whitening system is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. It’s safe, effective and fast, very fast. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. In-Office Whitening is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results.

Take Home Teeth Whitening

An alternative option to getting that bright smile is to take home custom fitted bleach trays to whiten your teeth in two weeks! These trays are then worn for 30 minutes once or twice a day hours for 2 weeks.

Tooth Colored Fillings

If you're embarrassed about your smile because of decay or dark fillings in your teeth, you may be a good candidate for composite resins. A silicon dioxide-filled, tooth-colored plastic mixture, composite resins can restore teeth to an attractive, healthy state.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin, porcelain, semi-translucent laminates that are permanently bonded to your teeth. Veneers provide an aesthetic alternative for a variety of dental conditions involving front teeth, including: broken or chipped teeth, gaps between teeth and crooked teeth. Veneers can also improve the shade of yellow or discolored teeth.

Implants

Dental implants are rapidly becoming the new stars of the dental industry. Dental implants are the most predictable, long-lasting tooth replacement option in dentistry. Studies have shown a 97% success rate at 30 years after placement. Dental implants feel and function just like a normal tooth. They replace both the root and crown portion of the tooth. Dental implants provide a strong foundation for biting and chewing and can rejuvenate your smile, giving you the confidence you need and deserve.

Bonding

Bonding can restore a chipped tooth or close a gap between teeth. It is also an economical alternative to a porcelain veneer.

Crowns

A crown can return structure, strength, and function to a tooth with extensive decay or damage. Designed to fit snugly and function as a healthy tooth, a crown will protect your tooth from further damage and preserve the jaw’s correct natural alignment.

Inlays/Onlays

Gold, porcelain, or composite inlays/onlays are custom made to fill the interior surfaces of a decayed tooth. Inlays and onlays rebuild severely decayed teeth when a traditional filling may not suffice.

Root Canals

Infections can develop deep within a tooth, due to extensive decay down to the nerve. This condition can be extremely painful and dangerous, requiring prompt attention to extract the infected tissue. We understand that root canals have a bad reputation, but rest assured, innovations in dental techniques, technology, and comfort measures have revolutionized root canal therapy.

Dentures and Partials

We fit dentures to replace all or some of the teeth in the upper and/or lower jaw. Dentures improve your confidence when you smile, as well as the clarity of your speech and your ability to chew. Modern dentures provide a firm hold and natural appearance to ensure maximum comfort and function.

IV Sedation

Oral sedation is very safe, and can assist us in completing all your dentistry in one visit.

The pills stay in a patient's system for several hours after the appointment, so there are few complaints of pain after procedures are completed.

How You May Feel
Most patients remember nothing about their treatment. A few will remember a little, usually at the end of the appointment when we are getting them ready to go home. You will need someone to bring you to our office on the day of your sedation appointment and you MUST have someone take you home afterwards.

Safety of Sedation
The reason that we use oral sedation is because of its safety. We use monitoring equipment to monitor your pulse and blood pressure. You'll be done before you know it, completely unaware of the time passing, totally relaxed.

Bridges

A bridge consists of a partial set of false teeth that fill a gap created by missing teeth. Crowns on either side of the bridge act as anchors, holding the bridge securely in place. Impeccable function and a natural appearance make crown and bridgework a popular choice for smile restoration.

Periodontal Therapy

Plaque buildup around the gum line can lead to periodontal disease. This infection causes persistent bad breath, gums that bleed easily, and gum recession. It can also contribute to the risk of stroke, heart attack, and complications for diabetics and pregnant women. Regular brushing, flossing, and preventative care visits with our hygienist help stave off periodontal disease. But should infection occur, we can help. The progression of periodontal disease can be halted and easily maintained with professional therapy, along with good home care.

To minimize discomfort when treating periodontal disease, we administer a local anesthetic before scaling and root planning. We then use an ultrasonic scaler, which emits a sonic vibration to remove tartar deposits from around and below the gum line. After a scaling procedure, we smooth the exposed surfaces of a tooth’s root to promote healing; then we apply Arestin, an antibiotic powder that adheres to infected gum tissue.

Sports Guards

Most people think of boxing and hockey when they think of sports guards, an oral appliance that protects. However, even mountain biking, soccer, basketball or racquetball poses a risk of oral injury. Keep your smile safe with custom-molded sports guards, available in varying strengths based on the demands of your sport of choice.

Comprehensive Exam and Oral Hygiene Care

Regular comprehensive exams and professional cleanings will keep your smile clean and healthy. Our trained and registered hygienist will thoroughly clean your teeth and screen for tooth decay, gum disease, oral cancer and other harmful conditions. With regular cleanings every six months, we can detect oral problems early, when conservative treatment is an option. We will also teach you how to optimize your oral homecare routine, because daily care is vital to maintaining a fresh and healthy smile for life.

Our state of the art digital radiograph machine helps to identify cavities and structural abnormalities. Digital radiography minimizes radiation exposure and creates images immediately.

Extractions

There are times when it is necessary to remove a tooth. A tooth may have so much decay that it puts the surrounding teeth and jaw at risk of decay, so your doctor may recommend removal and replacement with a bridge or implant. Infection, orthodontic correction, or problems with a wisdom tooth can also require removal of a tooth.

Anxiety Free Dentistry (including Nitrous Oxide)

At our office, we realize that many people have fear or apprehension about visiting the dentist. We recognize that different people have different fears and we offer several different approaches to treatment to help make your visit as easy and comfortable as possible. Nitrous Oxide, or “laughing gas” can help relieve your tension and can be easily and quickly reversed so when your appointment is finished you will feel completely normal and be able to drive home or back to work. During the appointment, it will take the edge off and allow you to “float away.”

TMJ

Temporomandibular Joint Disorder, or TMJ affects 15% of Americans. Some common symptoms include pain in or around the ear, tenderness of the jaw, clicking or popping noises when opening the mouth, or even head and neck aches. Treatment of TMJ may involve a series of steps. TM disorders can result when the jaw muscles or jaw joints are affected. The joint, ligaments, and muscles used for chewing and grinding food may all be involved. We can fit you for a Night Guard to prevent you from grinding or clenching your teeth while you sleep. We also offer other treatments for temporomandibular joint disorders, such as stress reducing exercises or muscle relaxants.

Infection Control

Our office is OSHA compliant and follows the same OSHA sterilization requirements as your local hospital.
