Bite Splint Therapy

A bite splint is a plastic appliance, worn by patients during the night who clench and/or grind during sleep. Clenching and grinding also causes gum recession.

Wearing a bite splint at night helps to protect the teeth from:

• Difficulty opening the mouth
• Pain in TMJ
• Frequent Headaches
• Earaches
